Kenya Board

In 2002, Philemon was officially founded as a Kenyan charity and it enjoys strong and robust board governance in Kenya.

Philemon Kenya board members have a wide range of skills and experience, including in law, medicine, tourism, business, accounting and financial management.

Members of the Philemon Kenya board include Kamotho Waiganjo, Dr Paul Wangai, Jane Kithela, Wanjiru Thimba, Tim Mahinda, Margaret Ekirapa, Eunice Mwongera and Paul Kisulu.

The chair of the Kenyan board is the well-known lawyer and legal commentator Kamotho Waiganjo. Kamotho is a partner in a prominent Nairobi commercial law firm, a former chairman of the Kenyan Christian Lawyers' Fellowship, chairman of CLEAR Kenya and has been a long-standing member of the Law Society of Kenya national council. Kamotho regularly appears on national news as a commentator on political issues and legal affairs.
